This electrode does not require the use of a separate reference electrode and is refillable with saturated Potassium Chloride saturated with AgCl.
With a 12mm inert glass body with a side fill hole the E8081 pH combination electrode has a 16mm diameter cap to suit all electrode stands and holders.
The ceramic annular reference junction provides a good contact with the sample to provide excellent stability and the Glass bulb is of the same low resistance glass used by research electrodes ensuring a fast response.
The E8081 pH combination electrode comes complete with a 1 metre fixed cable and a BNC connector. This means the electrode is compatible with all EDT pH meters and most modern alternatives form all manufacturers.
Calibration is normally performed using two pH buffer solutions and a temperature probe for Automatic temperature compensation (ATC). EDT provide a range of buffers. These are provided as coloured solutions in 500ml bottles, or as capsules to be dissolved in de-ionised water.
